I really enjoy watching “I’m Alive” and “I Survived”. Two shows on Animal Planet. In each episode the people overcome challenges that are perfectly extraordinary. And each person who is faced with the challenge of possible death is overcome with the desire to live.
We all want innately to live, but we want to live the kind of life we want to live. This can cause grief and despair when life catches us unprepared. Sometimes the despair causes us to harm ourselves or others. Yes, life is sometimes unbearable, but our perspective often makes the situation more than it actually is. Every problem and situation we encounter is a test. A lesson we either pass or possibly will encounter again until we pass. Every situation is an opportunity for growth. We grow in strength and we grow in understanding. Some of the experiences are in our control, others are not, but each is our responsibility. All are a lesson, and it is true “that this too shall pass.”
Realize that God never leaves your side through your trials and you can always tell God you’ve had enough. When the hard times come, stop and take a look at what you might be needing to overcome or what message you might still need to learn.
There are many who believe that before we come to this life we choose the experiences that we have to experience to evolve even further than our previous visits. Others believe we can change our circumstances with the Universal Laws and prayers. I keep an open mind and accept all theories. I know I have personally changed my life by applying the Law of Attraction and prayer. The first thing I had to learn was to take responsibility for the experiences in my past. They were not good or bad, they just were. I viewed the outcomes as bad though. The next step was getting clear on what I wanted my life to look like from that point forward. Next, I sent intentions and situations seemed to clear up almost magically! I also changed my environment, not by choice, but foreclosure. Who knew what looked like such a bleak and dier situation could turn out so well? It’s another thing I believe, when God closes a door, he opens a better one! I stiil have trials in my life, but it my choice how I react to them. I can make them larger than life or I can keep them in perspective. Some I can’t or don’t want to handle I hand over, I know it will be solved for my greatest good.
It’s time to explore the vast wonder of this world, know that you are never alone, get clear, take responsibility (many get stuck here) set intentions and watch your life begin to shift into the life you desire.
“For all may have, if they dare choose, a glorious life.”– Herbert
